Tuol Kork’s DB-VTC Past Pupils Welcome Sr. Jessica T. Salvaña, FMA CMY New Provincial

On November 15, 2015 at Don Bosco Vocational Training Center for Girls, Tuol Kork, (Cambodia) there was a program to welcome Sr. Jessica who is the new provincial for Cambodia and Myanmar. Every six years a new Provincial is designated for the FMA Province and this time Sr. Jessica was given the obedience to leave the Philippines and give her service to Mary, Our Help – Cambodia – Myanmar Province.

The Past Pupils delighted Sr. Jessica and the Sisters with their simple presentation showcasing their talents.
Moreover, this day was also made significant and historical by the induction of the first group of the Past Pupils to form the Past Pupils Association of Mary, Our Help Province (Cambodia-Myanmar). Sr. Leeza Kokkatt, Past Pupils in – charge, felt the time is already mature to start the Association. She took time to prepare and organize the Past Pupils to welcome Sr. Jessica and to finally start a more established Past Pupils Association in Cambodia.

Responding to Sr. Jessica’s questions many of the Past Pupils expressed their joy of working with the Sisters and they want to be collaborators in the mission of the Salesian Sisters.

The gathering ended with an enlightening and meaningful message from Sr. Jessica who left every Past Pupil the challenge to live their identity as a past pupil of the Salesian Sisters making a difference in their places of work. She also motivated them to take an active part in the Association wherever they are.
