BRINGING HOPE TO THE VILLAGERS OF KONE TAN GYI AND KONESU

Last November 22 four Sisters: Srs. Jessica, Agatha, Thuzar and Sylvie with Fr. Jeremin of Pathein went to bring food items for the villagers of Kone Tan Gyi and Konesu who were affected by the recent floodings in Pathein last August – September. Through the generosity of Caritas of Humanitarian Aid and Initiative Singapore (CHARIS) the villagers received the much needed help in terms of food. The people were overwhelmed with gratitude and contentment for the attention given to them through the concrete gesture of solidarity expressed by the Sisters and the people of Singapore. Every villager went home with so much joy in their heart.
