BLESSING AND LAYING OF THE CORNERSTONE

The Salesian Sisters of Cambodia gathered together today, 26th
October 2013 at 8:00 a.m. for the blessing and laying of the cornerstone of Don
Bosco High School building. The
construction has started some time ago
but the cornerstone was laid only on this day at the entrance to the main
school building where the grotto of our Blessed Mother will be.
The laying of the cornerstone of this new school enlivens
our faith and makes us grateful to God. We know the familiar words of the
Psalm: “If the Lord does not build the house, in vain do its builders labor.”
On this special occasion, we remembered all our benefactors
who are our co-workers in Christ and we
prayed to God that the laying of this cornerstone in the name of Christ our
Lord will contribute to the building up of his Kingdom and join us to him who
is the chief builder and cornerstone of this new school.
