HARD WORK, SHARING WITH FRIENDS AND PRAY ALL THE TIME

Feast of Laura: January 2016 at Battambang  

The feast was celebrated with love and solemnity. There was almost 3 weeks preparation and the crowning event was the Eucharistic celebration on the evening of 22nd; sr. Amanda and sisters in charge of SYM on 23rd with many games and activities.

Fr. Sophal celebrated the Eucharist. In his homily he took the life of Laura and translated it into the girl's life in the Cambodian society. He spoke almost an hour, but the girls enjoyed every bit of it. He stresses the virtues of Laura, the importance of the Sacraments, of the love of God and Laura's great love of our Blessed Mother.

The girls were motivated and are enthusiastic to become Laura of today. It gave them new insight into their mentality. With SYM, the girls made a solemn commitment to live their lives like Laura: Hard work, sharing with friends and pray at all time.
