HUMAN RIGHTS COURSE
On
May 14th and 15th in Anisakan, Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar, all the Daughters
of Mary Help of Christians of Myanmar, participated the course on HUMAN RIGHTS
transmitted by Sr. Marisol Verna FMA, an
Argentinian missionary in Cambodia.
She explained to us about the Human Rights Office of the Institute of the
Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in Geneva (IIMA), Switzerland.
We
appreciate very much her sharing because she has enlightened us to understand
the situation of the world, the problems and the abuses of the human rights in
the different parts of the world. Not only that, she has inspired us to defend
for the rights and the dignity of persons especially for the minorities, with
her passion and concern for the poor.
This
is an important course for us Salesian Educators to be able to know, understand
“the Human Rights” so as to educate the children and young people entrusted to
us to be protagonists of their lives and
to become responsible and honest citizens in
the society.
