Salesian Sisters celebrated the 145th Institute day in Myanmar
“You will be the living monument of Don
Bosco’s gratitude to Mary” echoing the words of Don Bosco, Salesian Sisters
celebrated the 145th
Institute day on August 5,2017 in
Anisakhan, PyinOoLwin, Myanmar.
The celebration began with thanksgiving Mass which was celebrated by the
SDB Provincial of Myanmar Rev. Fr. Charl Saw Thie Han Lwin and with other four
Salesian Priests, Brothers, Sisters and Students. After Mass the Aspirants and
the sewing students presented a short script about the life of Mother
Mazzarello, the beginning of the Institute and the history of Institute in
Myanmar. It reminded “the Charism as Heritage” which is handed down from our
Founders and which has great value and great responsibility to take care of it.
We can see clearly the fidelity of God and protection of Mary to our Institute.
After that the Sisters gave lunch to all the visitors. The celebration ended
with gratitude and joy. We thank God and Mother Yvon Reungoat for the successful
celebration and to those three sisters; Sr. Mary, Sr. Filomena and Sr. Thecla,
who brought back the Institute here in Myanmar. We also thank those who near
and far and all the Past Pupils who are praying for all the Salesian Sisters.
