JESUS FEEDING OF MULTITUDE...A STORY THAT CONTINUES!
The
Covid – 19 pandemic continues to challenge the Salesian Sisters of Phnom Penh
to be creative in reaching out to many families who are adversely affected by
the pandemic. The concern to put food at table is a growing necessity for many
families in this challenging time.
As
a response to this urgent need, the Sisters decided to put up the “kitchen
soup” or prepare packed meals to 800 people from the villages of Korchombok, Lu
Phram and Boeung Tamok they have adopted. This initiative kicks off to ease the
hunger of the families and will continue for some months. The hot rice porridge
and the packed meals have brought so much joy to children and adults as well
who queued up to have their share of the hot meal.
