EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO SIEM RIEP
On May 5 and 6, the 72 boarders of Saint Maria Domenica
Mazzarello Community of Battambang have
their Educational trip to Siem Riep, accompanied by three Sisters and three Staff.
The girls were prepared ahead by studying the history of the Temples and being
aware of the beauty of their country's heritage.
The Experience was very
positive... the girls came to know personally and experienced the beauty of
their own ancestral grandeur. For many
of them it was their first time to witness Angkor Wat and the Cambodian
Cultural Village programs. The girls experienced family style of caring,
sharing, helping one another, giving up their own personal comforts and
extended help to those in need in the group. Though everyone was tired at the
end of the trip, all were very happy and proud of their heritage and grateful
to God for the wonders He works in their lives.
